Hiii, im back again!!
Now i want to tell you guys about my trip to Menado, Bunaken. ;)
i visited for 5 days with my friends from Travel Industry. I went there around 2 years ago, since i still in 4th smester..
well, i graduate now!!! yay!! :D
congratulation for me! :P
and for my friends definitely!! ^^
okay,, so i went there by plane, and i was excited. i always excited to having journeys. :P
so, firstly after we arrived there. we went by Batavia Air and no delay (thankful), the flight takes around 3 and a half hours then we arrived on Menado, but after that we directly went to Bunaken by boat. it takes around 45 minutes. :)
we stayed at BUNAKEN DIVERS SEABREEZE RESORT.
The location is directly to the beach, and the restaurant is above the sea, so when we're eating there, we could enjoy the sea. it sooooo beautiful! Bunaken is a wonderful island with the pure sparkling sea. the water is soo bluee and even we can look under the sea. it looks gorgeous and we can looks many starfish which colourful! there are many types of colours : red, blue, orange, pink, and the combination of them, like white and black, yellow and green, pink and blue, and some with the stripes, complexion, many types of them. they are gorgeous! XD
So, we just enjoy the night and walk around the sea. ;)
the next day we're snorkeling at the beach. i just wear the swimsuit and use the sublock 50 SPF just to avoid the sunburn. The snorkeling was going very nice, we brought to the middle of the sea then first we learned how to dived etc for tomorrow then the rest of the day we enjoy snorkeling. its fun! i found many fishes around there, and they're pretty. they even didnt scared with humans. they loved being around us. *sweet :D
we're done at 15.00 then we're go up to the boat i felt so hungry so i ate lots of chocolate biscuits that served. it taste really great!!
lols. i dunno why it taste so great, perhaps because the biscuit was delicious or i just very hungry so everything taste nice on my tongue. :P
after that we back to the resort, and we're so hungry so we eat our lunch. i was with fibie.
there are many menado types of foods, interesting and delicious. ;)
not all of them re delicious, some of them taste unique. but overall are good. :)
then im take a bath, it feel so refreshing. :))
owh, for information the electricity only available from 18.00 to 06.00. so, we can't turn on the light or the fan. i cant sleep in my bed room coz it feels so hot. i admitted that bunaken is so hot.
the resort is really pretty. the restaurant also, but we cant enjoy the electricity because we must prevent the global warning thing and maintain the nature preserve. i think its very good idea! so, everything still pure, the sea, land, everything, no waste and its friends like u can look in Bali and the other beachs that many resorts around them. perhaps we could look Mone of the resort in Anyer for example. The resort is cool, the facility is so nice, but the sea is too crowded and not pure anymore. its so gross!
we must prevent that by do the good things for nature! go green!
okay, then after take a bath at 17.00 i with my friend go to restaurant to enjoy the snack. ;)
yeahhh, i love snacks! there are coffee and fried banana! sweet. :D
then, after that we're just chit chat enjoying the sunset then we're eat dinner. the dinner menu are variation from seafoods and menado foods. delicious! love it!
then the next day we're having breakfast like usual.
the breakfast are fried rice , breads, and menado porridge. menado porridge is contain of vegetables, corn, etc.
it taste quite unique, but not all of my friends like it. but u must try it when u go there! its worth! ;)
i must fill my energy before dive.
yay!! yay!! im soo excited!!!! XD
hmm,,
then i just went diving with my friends.
very great views, not all of my friends were diving. but if u want dive, u must rent the equipments for 400.000 IDR. its not too expensive i think. ;)
then for the beginner, we got 1 trainer per person. and i got one. he was so patient and nice.
firstly i went 5 mt under the sea it was okay, but is still theres nothing downthere. so, i just swim deeper...i found several fish that i never seen before. some of them re unique with yellow and green colour. so interesting til there re water that come in to my mask. i was going panic, i cant breath and i was 10 meter under the sea, and i dunno how to release the water, so i just gping up so fast because i cant breath and see. and when finally i get up there, i got angry with my trainer. he said that its so danger.
so guys for the information: its danger if we going up vertically fast like that, it could make your blood vessel blown up and also your lungs. its scarry. we must going up slowly, and not vertically. and in fact theres way how to release the water if its come in to our mask.
the thing that we must do is just look up then open the bottom of the mask, then the water will come out!! it won't come in! its magical!
lols. silly me!
so, u must hear all things from your trainer carefully before u go dived, and he/she can give u initial with hands if he want to talk under the sea.
so, i was continuing my dive.
i founds nemo..or clown fish. they are so tiny and cute! i cant catch them, they're so fast, and they're hiding in anemon. anemon have sting so we cant touch them.
not only human, but other fish cant touch it too, except clown fish. ;)
then i found many other fishes that were sooo unique, and have pretty colours. most of them re having light colour or neon, so we could see them in the dark.
well, i enjoy playing with the fishes then when i was stop at 20 meters i found 5 GIANT shell.
i touch them, and they re closed step by step. lols.
there are many great fishes like :
-Pelatuk fish : the fin can be straighten, but be careful of this fish.
-Gobies: this fish is really unique. it lived together with its partner, the prawn. they live in the sand hole, and the prawn's job is to clean their home and Gobies to protect the prawn from any enemy. interesting rite? ;)
-Barraccudas: they usually always being together as one team, and they have sharp teeth,, mm... quite scarry. but they won't bite us if we dont disturb them :)
-Sword Fish
-Angel fish(ikan bidadari) : very pretty name, huh?
when its born, the gender is female, but when its grown up it change to male. its like the SPLICE (movie). i watched it with ken a few weeks ago at Central Park and its remind me to this fish. lols. usually the male live in one place and surrounded by females. ehm...naughty! :P
-Sweetlips fish : u will know when u find it, it have the sexiest lips among the fish. ;)

then after that i going up... ^^
and again i felt so hungry.lols.
the next day we're going in the morning because we want to see the dolphins.
they are adorable dolphins! :)
at afternoon, we're packing and back to menado.
But before that, we bought souvenirs and foods from there.
i love sweet kenari. its like nuts(kenari)with brown sugar. very yummy!
u can find in menado too, but the taste is different from Bunaken, and not as yummy as in Bunaken, and its more expensive. so better that u buy in Bunaken. ;)
its only 2500 IDR/1 piece.

and we visit Menado Tua island too!
Before we go to hotel, we're having lunch in a restaurant that near mountain.
its cool and have fresh air! nice :)
we ate different of foods, its like Padang food, but they serve mice (eww) then cipaniki(bats..ewwwhh again!) and also dogs(i hate it!) but there re other foods that nice too. ;)
after we went there, we stay at the hotel. the name is L Grand Central Manado.
Great Hotel. ;)
the breakfasts re good too! :)))
the next day we're going to Minahasa, its like Menado's houses and we're takes pictures in there. then we visit the temple and also the Big Jesus sculpture. it just like Brazil. :)
Most people in Manado are christian, so dont be wonder if u found Cross Everywhere.
its an interesting city!
then we went to waruga, its like the grave yard from the oldest of Minahasa. Then we're back to the hotel. :)
the last day we're going to Bukit Kasih. it have great view but u must take a long way to achieve the top. there are thousand of stairs. lol. good luck for that! ;)
but again, its wothed!
then before we back home we bought some BAKPAO.
The BAKPAO are EXTREMELY delicious!! XD so u must try it!
